Mortal Sin

The Roman Catholic church teaches that justification is lost through mortal sin. [1033, 1855, 1874].

The Bible teaches that justification cannot be lost. Those whom God justifies will be saved from the wrath of God.

Romans 5:8,9:

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
